Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to notoriety after she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but A Number in the year 1994. When she was just 15, the album achieved Gold recognition. R. Kelly heavily influenced the group and helped bring the singer to the forefront. In 1996 Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland worked together to create her sophomore album One In A Million. It featured the track the song If Your Boyfriend only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah's sophomore album entitled One in a Million was released in 1996. It included the first hit single If Your Girl Only Knew. In 2000, she appeared alongside the martial arts icon Jet Li in Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her during the awards ceremony and kindly offered her this part. She was a part of the vampire film that was based on Anne Rice Queen of the Damned, it was released in 2002. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. Aarti Magnumdar is her professional name, but she is also known as Aarti Magumdar for her stage name. Her acting career began with minor TV and film parts, however her fame grew during the middle 2000s. Other than The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). In addition, she has appeared in important commercials of brands such as Volvo, an international auto producer. The mother of her daughter resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
