Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained prominence after the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing but an Number in 1994. The singer was barely fifteen when her debut album was released as Gold. The album was part of a group that was greatly influenced by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the limelight. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as professional names. While she started out in film and TV with a few minor roles her acting career gained growth in the latter half of 2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) In addition, she has appeared in commercials for big brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
