Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained fame after releasing the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing But A Number in the year 1994. The album, launched when she was only 15 years old was certified Gold. R. Kelly was a major influence on this collaboration which brought her into the limelight. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland came out with Aaliyah's sophomore album One In A Million. The album contained the single If Your Girls Only Knew the top-selling single. Following the release of this work Aaliyah won international acclaim as an R&B performer. She appeared alongside the legendary martial artist Jet Li in the romantic-action movie Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at an awards show and suggested the role. In 2002 she got to play the vampire flick Queen of the Damned which was inspired by The Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her debut role. The Matrix Sequels. Her birthplace was in Connecticut to the family of Indian heritage. Mann is an abbreviation of her husband's first name Mankad. Aarti has both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as her professional names. Her acting career began in early 2000 with small roles on TV and films. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) Her commercials have featured prominent brands like Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles along with her spouse, daughter, and husband. She is also pursuing her acting profession.
